76th Avg WAC 2013, plus Bonus – 13031/13 AU BROTZ
Blue Check Hen ... 13031/13. Double granddaughter of BULL 775 (son of NL 1st NATIONAL ACE). BULL 775 has been a key breeder, especially for one-loft races, for David Brotzler. The 13031 hen was sent to the 2013 World Ace Challenge where she finished 76th Avg Speed. A small, strong hen with an orange eye.
David Brotzler bred many of his best pigeons to very advanced ages. The BULL 775 was 100% fertile in 2013 at 18. The VEGAS HEN was fertile in 2013 at 13. We are including one of his older breeders as a Bonus and we have matched it with the younger bird that you are bidding on. While we cannot guarantee the fertility of the older bird, most were fertile in 2013 or, if they were not used last year, they certainly look and handle as if they will be fertile in 2014. Therefore, we include this older bird as a BONUS … with no guarantee of fertility. But these older birds would not have stayed in the breeding loft this long unless they were producing good pigeons … and if they breed for you, you have really gotten a great deal. Once again, you are bidding on the younger bird (large photo) and we have included the full pedigree of the younger bird. The small inset photo is a current one of the Bonus Bird. Due to space restrictions, we do not include the pedigree of the Bonus Bird. But if you are interested in the full pedigree, call me … 218-491-3345 … and I will either email it to you or discuss it and the birds.
Bonus Bird … BC Grizzle Cock, 4241/04 … Dr. Jake Jr. One of the Brotzler key breeders for long distance. His sire, Dr. Jake, was a 500M day bird. The dam was an old grizzle hen from 1992 that goes back to his old distance family.
David Brotzler of Minnesota (flying as Brotzler Bros, Indigo Hills Farm, MN Coalition), over the past ten years, has amassed a tremendous record in one-loft and futurity races. His success has been driven by key pigeons such as the BULL 775 (son of 1st National Ace DA BULL 777) and the VEGAS PAIR (a son of BULL 776 … nestmate of 775 … mated to the grizzle VEGAS HEN … 0012/00 – Thomas Peeters family). The following information shows the impact of the BULL pigeons and the VEGAS PAIR on his one-loft race successes.

David Brotzler passed away on March 14, 2014 … one day short of his 82nd birthday. We will continue to sell his key pigeons over the next several weeks. All the culling is done. These are the best from a loft with 65 years of successful flying in several Minneapolis/St.Paul clubs, as well as his high placings in major one-loft races.
