Black Check Hen … 7641/07 AU RRVF ... 2011 1st Ace OB of Year <p>

This hen was a super flyer for many years for David Torkildson, who lived in the Fargo, ND area. When David’s club broke up in 2011, he also decided to retire from pigeons and spend his winters in Arizona. So he sold all his best birds to a friend of mine, who passed away six months later. These great Torkildson pigeons came to me and have been bred on a limited basis. Living in Duluth, MN (with no local club), I have done private training and testing, as well as one-loft races (on a very small scale).

The 7641/07 hen is a small, buoyant pigeon with a marvelous pearl eye. I have mated her to my David Torkildson 1st 531M winner of the 500M class of the 2011 Midwest Classic (by 8 minutes). He has become a foundation cock for me so I am moving out hens that have given me sons or daughters when mated to him. I have a daughter of 7641 in my breeding loft in 2015.

I have no doubt 7641 will be fertile in 2015 and probably for several more years. She is now sitting on four eggs in my hen holding loft where she is mated to another hen. She has not been exposed to any cock for several months and I don’t have any little “henny” cocks breeding the hens in my hen loft so you can put her in with your chosen cock the day she comes in the mail.

I will also be breeding from the full brother of 7641 in 2015. This full brother (8739/08) was the 1st Ace OB in the RRVF club in 2009 and a multiple high finisher in three Midwest Classic races (531M).

The 7641 hen will come with all her diplomas. She was 1st at 303M as a YB. And in 2011 when she was the 1st Ace OB in RRVF, she amassed an amazing 600+ points. She ended the year and her racing career flying the 531M Midwest Classic, homing on the 2nd day (birds released at 11:00 am prior day so no day birds in 500M class).

Some people complain that real performance pigeons never come up on this auction. Well, stop complaining and buy her. It’s not too late to breed YBs for the 2015 team.
