For a number of years I have been developing a good family of grizzles based on a bronze grizzle hen bred by Bacco & Lama Loft off Lama's IF Convention winner and my family of Merckx Janssens. Into the 4th generation of breeding these grizzles the birds have developed into excellent specimens, which are ideal in size, supple in muscle and possess super silky feathers. Occasionaly predominantly white birds showed up in the nests.
We have flown two cocks and two hens from this Grizzle/Janssen breeding and all have won club or combine diplomas, including a 1st club winner in a smash 300-mile race as well as a high CJC diploma for Burns & Joe Loft of Laffayette, N.J.
