This bird will be seven in June. Don’t be afraid of her age. Bud Williams just won 2nd Ace of the America’s Average Speed Championship series [yesterday] with a cock that is 10 years old [also out of Constans]. He got the bird just several months ago from us. And, remember, Konstantin’s mom was 10 when her son won South Africa; the Derby Arona’s mom was 10 years old when it won the big one; Horse Reliable’s mom [our Ms.Reliable] was 11 years old when her son won $84,000 in South Africa for us.
You may have noticed that we extended this auction by a week. In 12 years of posting birds at auction, we have never extended even one auction. It is distasteful to me when this is done because it most-often appears that the owner isn’t happy with how much money the bird is bringing. This is not the purpose of this extension.
I was in a rush Thursday night when I created these three lots. Totally forgot to add the snippet about gift-birds. Between Fri. & Sat., I had three inquiries about whether gifts were applicable to these. Thus, the extra information and extension.

Some of the gift-birds are snap-banded..BUT..they will be of comparable quality to the bird purchased. So, attest some of the recent recipients. No birds are gifted with these auctions whose parentage is not known. Some gift-birds we’ve sent have been 8-10 year old proven breeders that need to leave our harsh climate. Please don’t ask for specific sex, breeding or age if you are to receive a gift-bird/s.
