Nanez blue hen 6796/16 AU Nanez w/bonus son.
If you follow one loft racing, you know what both Dark Horse and Iron-Clad have done for Rick Nanez. Here is a hen I bought in 2016, then mated her in 2017 to my inbred Konbird grandson. They produced three YBs. On the final race 330M race of the year, the 6282 cock was my first bird on the day. He was followed by my second bird, the full sister 6243 seven minutes later. The third sibling was also a day bird.

The 6282 went in the stock loft. The 6243 kept flying. In 2019, she was my first bird from 629M, flying to the perch. Then I mated her and she was on eggs for the Midwest Classic from Topeka, KS (560M). On a super hot day in the '90s, there were no day birds in the 600M class. She came the next morning for second overall in the class and first in the state of Minnesota.

I remade this mating again in 2020. You will get a full brother of the 6243 as a bonus with the purchase of the 6796 hen (see pedigree). He was trained to 35M.

The 6796 hen is sired by a full brother of Iroin-Clad. He was mated to a very good flown daughter of Dark Horse.

The flown son has not been LDHA tested. But 6796 is (AB). So at the very least, if you mate them, one of the pair will have the (A) gene.

As I move deeper into retirement, I am going to focus on the 500M-700M family I have where day birds at that distance are my goal.

This is a very nice, very proven hen, medium in size. And in a heavy molt.
