One of the most consistent records since 2014.
Our families have performed with excellence at The Hoosier for 10 years. Since 2014, we, or clients who have scored with children of birds from our breeders have won: 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 21st, 26th, 31st, 36th, 37th, 42nd, 44th, 45th….etc. ALL ON THE FINALS. Further, we’ve won 1st, 2nd and 5th, 10th on four other races there as well as 7th Overall Ace, 13th Overall Ace and 3rd Overall Knockout Ace. Several clients have been top ten Overall Ace with birds from our breeders.
In 2018, we were the only loft with 4 in the top 110 birds on the final [with 12 in the race].
In 2022, 4 of our 8 birds were in the money.
In 2023, we were the only loft with 5 ‘for sale’ birds on the first page. Someone has pointed out that one of those were entered by ‘Nanez Family Lofts’. That is correct, it was the only bird left from us there that was sent to be sold. No one bought it to enter; thus, we did.

This year, despite having a very late breeding season [due to our fire], four of the 17 birds we sent were in the money, [ most in teams purchased and entered by others]. We were also 10th on the 220m. race. Fourth final, winning $77,000+ for Lisa Loft was from our Constans blood on top!
*We never pick up the phone to ask clients who score if they hit with our birds. The only information we get are via the few that contact us.
NANEZ FAMILY LOFTS is offering RACING KITS for:
THE HOOSIER MILLION DOLLAR RACE:
It is based completely on the same format that the Hoosier themselves, offer during the breeding season. All rules are identical. These racing-kits are being offered with the permission of The Hoosier Management.
Here’s how it works [as per Hoosier official rules]:
1) We post a kit of six birds for $200. No further bidding is required, as the buy-it-now price will be $200.
2) You will be charged as usual by Pigeonauctions [Paloma Co.,].
3) The $200 will then be paid to the Hoosier after we receive it.
4) Nanez Family Lofts will pay Pigeonauctions their regular commission rate.
5) Pigeonauctions will send your contact information to us as normally done in an email.
6) When the birds are ready to ship, Nanez Family Lofts will cover shipping costs to the Hoosier; ordinarily, around $170 for six birds [2 boxes and postage]. Nanez Family Lofts will also pay the commission and fees to pigeonauctions. These birds will have been vaccinated for PMV, ROTA AND SALMONELLA, and treated for Cocci, Canker and worms.
7) Upon arrival of the birds to the Hoosier in the Spring, the owner of the team [you who have bid $200 on pigeonauctions] will be required to pay the balance of the perch fee, which will be the additional $800 for six birds. The perch fee there is $1000 for 6 birds in total. So, perch fees are $200 per bird or 6 for $1000. They will be listed under your loft name/and ours combined. [The three-bird teams purchased will have a balance of $400 due].
8) After the activation race, you [the bidder on pigeonauctions.com] will be responsible to pay for the entry fees of each bird that has made it that far; as per Hoosier rules: $650 per bird [up $50 from 2024]. In 2024, one such ‘buyer’ did not follow through with fulfilling their part of the deal. We paid for his bird and won 10th with it on the 220m. race!
9) Any prize money won by the birds on this team will be split 50/50 with Nanez Family Lofts, as per Hoosier rules.
10) After the final race, all remaining birds on that team will be your property, unless the bird is in the top 100, which are required to go to public auction.
11) If one or more of these birds are auctioned, the proceeds will be split 50/50 with Nanez Family Lofts. Again, as per Hoosier official rules.
*Over 160 teams for various lofts were purchased in this manner for the 2024 season for the Hoosier. At least 3 ‘for sale’ birds have won 1st place at the Hoosier Final since 2018!!
*Pedigrees will be provided by us for all birds finishing the series.
**If you prefer 3-BIRD TEAM, we will also post a couple of those. Same rules except your perch-fee balance upon arrival of the birds [this Spring] at the Hoosier will be $400 instead of $800 due for a 6-bird team.
